Expo Benefits Lyme Disease Foundation

The Divine Light Holistic Expo, sponsored by the Keystone Lyme Disease Foundation (KLDF), will hold its first event of the year from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., June 23, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., June 24, at the Gilbertsville Fire Company Number 1, in Gilbertsville. The event will feature psychic mediums, holistic healers, handmade clothing and jewelry, crystals, candles and aura photography, offered by vendors from New York, New Jersey, Maryland and Pennsylvania.

“People who usually gravitate to the holistic events tend to be very spiritual,” says event Director Chris Mochin. “We want to offer an opportunity to people in the Gilbertsville area to see what the holistic lifestyle is about and to raise funds for a good cause.”

Proceeds will benefit the KLDF, which endorses the holistic treatment of Lyme and chronic Lyme disease. “Lyme and chronic Lyme disease are rampant throughout our region, and we want to help increase awareness and guide people to the right doctors for treatment,” says Mochin, who is also president of the KLDF. He was diagnosed with Lyme Disease in 2009.
