Community Acupuncture in Lahaska

HealthPoint Community Acupuncture has opened in Lahaska, offering group acupuncture treatments on a sliding scale, which gives patients the opportunity to decide how much they can pay. Prices for treatments that normally cost between $50 and $100 per session are available for as low as $15 to $50 each. “At HealthPoint we are here to help as many people as possible and not all of them can afford the same costs for health care. What you pay is completely up to you, your situation and what you can afford at the time,” says owner Lauren Cunha.

Group acupuncture is a quiet, relaxing experience that keeps health care affordable, encourages collective healing and allows friends and family to receive treatment simultaneously. Group treatment also helps alleviate nervousness as newcomers join experienced clients that are sitting peacefully in the same room. Because the lower parts of the extremities are the main acupuncture points accessed, clients only need to expose their legs from the knees down and their arms from the elbows down, while they relax in recliner chairs. Conditions treated include allergies, addictions, digestive ailments, fatigue, headaches, insomnia, pain, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), stress and anxiety, temporomandibular joint syndrome (TMJ) and more.
