Natural Awakenings Bucks and Montgomery Counties PA

Eat, Live, Love the GMO-Free Way

GMO Free PA and Brad’s Raw Foods will hold a Valentine’s Day event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., February 15, in Pipersville, to create awareness about the effect of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) on the health of humans, animals and the environment.

Attendees will learn from special guest speakers, gain the tools to become an advocate for this cause and learn how to help create a transparent, traceable food system in Pennsylvania. Participants will be able to sample GMO-free food from Cucina Verde and will enjoy demonstrations that reveal GMO-free alternatives to replace everyday pantry ingredients.

Local community supported agricultural projects and other businesses that are committed to operating without GMOs will host tables that offer resources and additional information.

Cost: $5 registration fee, or free with the purchase of a membership. Location: 7034 Easton Rd., Pipersville. For more information and to preregister (recommended), email [email protected] or visit GMOFreePA.org. January 2014
