Large and Small Weekly Shares Offered by Living Hope Farm CSA

Living Hope Farm, a nonprofit, community supported agricultural farm (CSA) in Harleysville, offers large and small shares for its summer growing season. Both large and small shares are available for weekly pickup. The farm produces chemical free, locally grown fruits and vegetables to its CSA members and operates a public, indoor farm market from May to November.

Large share owners—receiving 11 to 12 items per week—and small share owners—6 items per week—are able to select a majority of their produce before pickup by using an online form. Members may also receive the perk of picking their desired herbs as well as harvesting a fresh flower bouquet weekly. Additionally, chemical-free vegetable plant sales will be held on Saturdays in May at the farm for those who wish to start a few plants in their own home gardens.

Living Hope Farm is a certified naturally grown produce farm that grows over 60 varieties of fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers. The farm works to build connections and relationships between households and businesses with the idea of moving from commodities to community—from fast, boxed food to fresh, local food—and from mindless eating to the intentional preparation of foods.

Location: 461 Indian Creek Rd., Harleysville. For more information, call 215-256-4400, email [email protected] or visit LivingHopeFarm.org. April 2014.
