The Prancing Peacock, with studios in Yardley and Langhorne, offers prenatal and children’s yoga classes at its new Peacock Nest—a nurturing yoga community for expectant moms, moms, babies, children and teens to play, practice and learn together. The nest is located in the newly opened Langhorne Yoga and Wellness Center. This 7,700-square-foot “Wellness Castle” is a comprehensive wellness center, offering yoga and barre, Reiki, therapeutic massage, facials, fitness bootcamps and on-site psychotherapy.
“The practice of prenatal yoga stretches and strengthens muscles, improves balance, opens areas of tightness, creates a sense of space in the body, and increases stamina—all beneficial for the changes of pregnancy, the process of labor and delivery and the demands of motherhood,” says Nest Director Kelly Corbitt.
Classes offered include prenatal yoga, mommy and me classes, toddler yoga, children’s yoga, teen yoga, preteen yoga and meditation for kids. Series passes are available for discounts on multiple classes.
Location: 139 Zimmerman Ln., Langhorne. For more information, call 267-679-0791 or visit PrancingPeacock.com. May 2015.
