Bucks Knocks Out Hunger 2015

United Way of Bucks County will be holding Bucks Knocks Out Hunger on July 24, at Delaware Valley University. The shifts for packing meals this year will be 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and volunteer slots to help in the Hope of the Harvest charitable garden will be available at 9 a.m.

Bucks Knocks Out Hunger is a community-driven, hunger-fighting project that unites thousands of donors, advocates and volunteers to pack 100,000 nutritious, shelf-stable meals. The fundraiser for Bucks County’s food pantries also raises money to provide tens of thousands of pounds of locally grown produce, lean proteins and other items which can be hard for pantries to secure.

Those interested in volunteering for Bucks Knocks Out Hunger—as individuals or groups—can visit UWBucks.org/BKOHunger and register for a time slot.

Location: 700 E. Butler Ave., Doylestown. For more information, call 215-949-1660 or visit UWBucks.org. July 2015.
