The third annual Bucks County Healthy Living Festival will take place from noon to 5 p.m., September 20, at Tamanend Park, in Southampton. The festival aims to introduce residents of Bucks County and the surrounding areas to the many local business entrepreneurs that offer more sustainable, healthier choices.
“The inception of this festival started with the premise that there are many local alternative businesses right in one’s backyard, yet people have no clue how to connect with them,” says Wendy Sheahan, event organizer. “It is all about the community connection and the idea that there are, in fact, people who want alternative choices that make it worthwhile to connect the two together. We can have healthy alternatives as mainstream.”
Vendors at the event include Rainbows of Healing, who will have crystals and minerals, unique jewelry, Native American flutes, clothing, herbs incense and more. Natural Awakenings is the premier sponsor of the event.
Location: Second Street Pike, Southampton. For more information, visit BucksHealthyLivingFestival.com. September 2015.
