Alpha Center Celebrates 20 Years with Free Family-Friendly Celebration at Central Bucks YMCA

The Doylestown-based Alpha Resource Center for Divorce Mediation will host a free community event from 2 to 4 p.m., February 27, at the Central Bucks YMCA Teen Center. The day’s festivities will include refreshments, games and live acoustic music from local alt-folk-bluegrass band High Hearts. The event celebrates Alpha Center’s 20 years serving families in transition with its trademarked, seven-step divorce mediation program.

“Over the past 20 years, we have been able to assist over 5,000 adults and their children in transitioning to new beginnings. We wouldn’t have come this far without the support of organizations like the YMCA,” says Keila Gilbert, Esquire, Alpha Center’s founder and president. “This is our way of saying thank you, and here’s to another 20 years of helping people heal.”

Alpha’s skilled team of attorney mediators, parenting mediators, accountant mediators and financial counselors work together holistically to care for the well-being of families when a divorce is taking place or being considered. Their proven cost-effective program brings peace and civility to the divorce experience and prepares both parties and their children for a brighter future.
