Star Advanced Medicine Focuses on Tech-Facing Aesthetics, PRP

Star Advanced Medicine, in Furlong, is a new practice that focuses on non-invasive, regenerative treatments that help to renew both internal and external vitality. Its founder, Dr. Bonnie McKinley, DO, specializes in platelet-rich plasma therapy (PRP), a technique used to treat a wide range of conditions, including injuries to ligaments, tendons, cartilage, joints and muscles.

Because of the positive outcomes seen by McKinley’s patients, as well as the high safety profile of each healing treatment, the practice has expanded to also include PRP for various aesthetic applications, offering a safe and effective, non-surgical option for those that want to look their best.

Star Advanced Medicine employs the latest technology, including the Diowave laser for pain relief and healing of tissues, and the Eclipse Micropen Elite, a micro-needle lauded for helping to address wrinkles, fine lines and acne scarring quickly and painlessly. Other services include non-invasive lifts, facials, hair restoration, prolotherapy injections, BioTe hormone replacement and a medically supervised weight loss program.

McKinley, a board-certified physician with extensive experience in sports and musculoskeletal medicine, is passionate about the products and services she has chosen to offer. “Our non-invasive treatments, like the Diowave laser, help with pain and tissue regeneration and work to harness the body’s own ability to heal itself,” she says.

On the morning of September 9, Star Advanced Medicine will host the inventor of the Diowave laser, Dr. Bruce Coren, for a brief presentation on how it works. He and McKinley will answer questions from potential patients and will provide a free breakfast for attendees.

Location: 2325 Heritage Center Dr., Ste. 315, Furlong. For more information, call 267-544-0664 or visit StarAdvancedMed.com.
