Opportunities to Learn Healing Touch this Winter

Local healers will have the opportunity to take Healing Touch Level 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., January 13 and 14, with snow dates planned for January 27 and 28, at Holy Redeemer HomeCare, in Philadelphia. It is also presented at Main Line Health, in Radnor, February 24 and 25.

The two-day course is taught by Jean M. White, founder of Healing Touch Pennsylvania, in Langhorne. The class includes 16 to 18 continuing education contact hours of instruction for nurses and massage therapists, but is open to anyone interested in learning the energy-based healing modality from a professional trainer.

The Healing Touch Program was created by nurse and healer Janet Mentgen and combines several different techniques. The program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

White has more than two decades of combined experience and certification as a Healing Touch practitioner, certified instructor and certified holistic nurse. She teaches Level 1, 2 and 3 workshops in the Philadelphia/Bucks County area and has an active, woman-focused, private practice.

“You know how some nurses or massage therapists feel burned out because what they are doing is not what they went into their profession for?” says White. “I teach them new techniques and tools that help them pump up their energy lives and practice.”
