Anahata Yoga Offers Kripalu-Inspired Yoga Teacher Training this Spring

Anahata Yoga & Wellness Center, in Lederach, is now registering prospective yoga teachers for their latest 200-hour yoga teacher training.

Running from February through November, the training will be held the first weekend of each month. The curriculum includes teaching methodology, anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy and ethics, and practicum. Electives, such as Teaching Beginner’s Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Ayurveda, the Chakra System, Yoga for Hypermobility and iRest Yoga Nidra, are also offered.

“Our program offers so much that students will find unique,” says studio founder and owner, Kathleen Tooley, who encourages potential students missing the start of spring training to learn more now and plan for the fall session. “Each training is limited to eight students, and discounts are available for early registrants, so if not now, when?”
For more than six years, Anahata Yoga & Wellness Center has offered yoga, ayurveda, meditation and reiki classes, workshops and special events with a focus on using yoga as a tool for self-healing and personal transformation. Their Kripalu-based approach teaches students to reduce stress and anxiety, experience the pleasure of deep breathing, cultivate compassion for themselves and others and to move mindfully in a non-competitive environment.

Cost: $2,700 when paid in full before the first day of training. Payment plans available. Location: 690 Harleysville Pk., Lederach. For more information and to register, call 215-740-1354 or visit AnahataYogaWellness.com. February 2018
