Born with a compassionate nature, it’s no surprise that Dr. Jennifer Redmond was naturally drawn to helping and healing others. After achieving two degrees, a B.A., and a doctorate in chiropractic, Redmond founded Samsara Chiropractic Wellness Center, a fixture in the Somerville community for over eight years. The word samsara has Hindu and Buddhist origins and means “the cycle of life, death and rebirth, and the resistance to such is the source of existential suffering.” Working to alleviate this suffering through respecting the body’s ability to heal and self-regulate is the foundation of her practice. Locate and Release Stress in the Body Using Neuro Emotional Technique

Other parts of the body can hold stress responses as well—think of the feelings of “butterflies” in the stomach or a “lump” in the throat. Neuro emotional technique (NET) can identify where those negative response patterns exist—whether we are aware of it or not—and help release them.
