In keeping with its mission to establish itself as a premiere yoga teacher training studio, Anahata Yoga & Wellness Center is expanding its offerings. In addition to its foundational 200-hour teacher training and prenatal teacher training, it is now offering a 300-hour program.
The 300-hour training is open to graduates of any 200-hour program and is offered in five modules designed to deepen a teacher’s skills in the areas of anatomy, chakra yoga, ayurveda, meditation and the art of teaching. Continue reading
Anahata Yoga & Wellness Center, in Lederach, is now registering prospective yoga teachers for their latest 200-hour yoga teacher training.
Running from February through November, the training will be held the first weekend of each month. The curriculum includes teaching methodology, anatomy and physiology, yoga philosophy and ethics, and practicum. Electives, such as Teaching Beginner’s Yoga, Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Trauma-Sensitive Yoga, Ayurveda, the Chakra System, Yoga for Hypermobility and iRest Yoga Nidra, are also offered.
Anahata Yoga and Wellness Center, in Harleysville, is hosting an open house on February 18 for prospective yoga teachers to learn more about their upcoming 200-hour yoga teacher training. The information session is free to attend and will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the studio. Participants are encouraged to meet the staff, learn about payment options and schedules, and ask any questions.
The spring Yoga Teacher Training, which runs from April through December, is held the first weekend of each month on both Saturday and Sunday. Trainees, who are required to have at least one year of yoga experience, also attend 18 Anahata Yoga classes and two chakra workshops (or a full-day chakra intensive) during that time. Anahata Yoga and Wellness Center will host a free information session about its upcoming 200-Hour Anahata Yoga Teacher Training (AYTT) program from 11 a.m. until noon on March 5, at its Harleysville studio.
The Himalayan Institute (HI) is partnering with Moondog Yoga Studio, in Quakertown, to offer a comprehensive and in-depth teacher training program, beginning at 6 p.m., September 25. Moondog teachers and HI faculty will deepen participants’ understanding of the yoga tradition, expand personal yoga practice and help them discover their full potential as a yoga teacher.
Dig Yoga, with locations in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Lambertville, New Jersey, is offering two yoga training and certification programs to help serious students become registered yoga teachers. The programs, Dig Deeper Yoga Studies (DDYS) 101 and 200, run in succession beginning in January.
Moondog Yoga, in Quakertown, in conjunction with the nonprofit, international Himalayan Institute, headquartered in Honesdale, will produce a 200-hour-level yoga teachers’ certification program that distributes the content of Himalayan Institute’s normal three-week intensive over the course of a year, beginning in January, with a summer break during July and August.
