I welcome the sizzle point, That place between the strike of the match and the flare of the fire, That place where my choices are clear, That place where old, painful habits lose their power and new habits form. My sizzle point is my promise— Where the real “me” of who I am can be revealed, enjoyed, nurtured, shared. My promise is where I choose warmth over heat, Where I choose light over lightening, Where I choose power over force and balance over turmoil. This promise is my being: strong, worthy, full of potential and possibility. Between the strike and the flare is where my love for myself grows, Because love is all there is, and it is all I need.
