Recipe: Chia Chocolates
Vegetarian, Vegan, Raw, Gluten-free, Dairy-free, Nut-free
The secret to good chocolate is raw coconut oil. Here is the basis for a simple and healthy chocolate recipe. These are full of healthy fats that provide energy and brain fuel.INGREDIENTS:
- 5 Tbsp raw cacao powder or carob
- powder
- 4-5 Tbsp raw coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp raw honey or 3 Tbsp coconut
- sugar
- 1 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 Tbsp coconut (optional)
- 1/4 tsp cayenne (optional)
Combine ingredients together in a bowl and mix well. Pour mixture into molds and chill in refrigerator or freezer. When the coconut oil has solidified, your healthy and delicious chocolate chunks are ready. Kept refrigerated, these will last up to two weeks.
