Frenchtown NJ Hosts Green Fair
Frenchtown will host its second annual Green Fair from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., September 28. The fair will be brimming with green, organic and sustainable products and demos. Exhibitors and speakers will answer questions about gardening, recycling, food, energy, health and wellness and more.
Featured speaker Mike McGrath from the National Public Radio show, You Bet Your Garden, will discuss composting. Chef Christine Waltermyer, founder and co-owner of Natural Kitchen Cooking School, in Princeton, New Jersey, and author of The Natural Vegan Kitchen, will present Decadent Desserts Using Rice. The Delaware Riverkeeper Maya van Rossum, who heads the Delaware Riverkeeper Network, will speak about the ways that fracking affects the Delaware River Watershed.
