Dragon Gate T’ai Chi Ch’uan Comes to Greenshire
Lyn Hicks
Lyn Hicks, trained in Dragon Gate T’ai Chi Ch’uan, raja yoga and ancient feminine cultures of Egypt, India and Persia, joins the faculty at Greenshire Arts Consortium to inspire individuals to unfold to their ultimate healthy selves.
Hicks makes her debut at Greenshire with her first class, Awaken to Health: Dragon Gate T’ai Chi Ch’uan, offered from 7 to 8:15 p.m., every Monday night in April. The class will explore the ancient movements of t’ai chi health practices, teaching individuals how to connect to their inherent vitality.
Hicks is also a published author and passionate educator of feminine health and beauty. With her book, The Lotus Project: The Art of Being a Woman, she helps women awaken to new perspectives of their feminine selves. “Shifting how you see your roles in the world allows you to lovingly embrace your feminine spirit,” explains Hicks, “so you can fill yourself first and better support those around you.”
