Back in Balance Offers Specialty Massage and Integrative Services in Langhorne, Bensalem and Cheltenham
A nationally certified massage and bodywork therapist with over two decades of experience, Keesler specializes in Thai yoga massage, neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, sports massage and therapeutic-assisted stretching techniques.
She has taught continuing education courses for fellow massage therapists since 2001 and is an avid learner as well—she is trained in reiki and energy healing, guided imagery, Bach flower remedies, is an ACE-certified fitness coach, and teaches yoga dance and posture improvement. Her technique is informed by this diverse background. “Each massage is unique and integrative. In one session we may work with hot stones, myofascial release and reiki. The next session might call for more deep tissue,” Keesler shares.
After so many years in this work, Keesler has a keen sense of what will best serve each client in a given massage. “I rely upon what I know, what I can feel from the client’s body physically and energetically, and what the client is telling me. My clients trust me to be creative and to heal from a variety of sources,” she says.
Back in Balance is a green and animal-friendly operation, using only plant-based oils and creams that are not tested on animals.
In addition to private sessions and continuing education, Keesler offers workshops and classes for laypeople. Her popular Thai Yoga for Partners class is a favorite for Valentine’s Day and teaches participants how to give Thai massage in a way that is safe and pain-free.
