Elaine Berk, owner of Evolving Soul, LLC, has a desire to make a positive and immediate difference in the lives of her clients. On her journey toward spiritual awakening, she discovered that alternative routes can sometimes take you right where you need to go.

What services do you provide, and what are your qualifications?

Evolving Soul offers non-traditional, alternative, short-term therapies for healing, such as past life regression (PLR) therapy, energy psychology (EP) and tapping, and crystal-light-color therapy. Results can be achieved in one or a handful of sessions.

My background includes a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Temple University and years of practicing as a psychotherapist. I am a certified hypnotherapist and PLR therapist, have trained extensively in EP, and am honored to be one of a select few granted permission to bring crystal bed therapy to this area.

Are these stand-alone services, or how can they work together?

These modalities are all effectively used alone, but when used in conjunction, they may enhance both the speed and depth of healing and growth. The crystal bed, for example, when combined with EP techniques or when used following a PLR therapy session, can accelerate the healing of specific issues.

Do you have to subscribe to a particular belief system to benefit from your services?

PLR therapy works whether you believe in reincarnation or not. Some clients consider their experience in PLR a metaphor for current life issues, which enables them to expand awareness about their life issues and life purpose, and make changes going forward. While the crystal bed therapy carries John of God’s name because it was conceived as a healing tool at his world-renown healing facility, The Casa, in Brazil, the science behind the crystal bed is what enables it to do the healing. This tool combines the benefits of crystal, light and color therapies to clear blockages in the energetic centers of the body that can result in a host of physical and emotional issues.

You were an executive for a very successful toy company and a nonprofit organization, but ultimately you decided to come back to healing. How did your experiences influence your path?

After finding that traditional means of therapy no longer fit for me anymore, I embarked on another path, and the opportunity presented itself to work for a start-up construction toy company called K’NEX. There, I helped launch the product and then founded the K’NEX Education Division, which enables students to learn reading, math and the sciences in a hands-on manner.

Then 9/11 happened and I felt called to do something. I founded a nonprofit to facilitate healing among youth that had suffered directly or indirectly from the events and aftermath. After a series of life events caused me to do extensive soul searching, I discovered both EP and PLR and was blown away by the immediate success I had with them. I couldn’t train fast enough in order to bring these healing modalities to others. For me, it’s all about making the greatest difference in and bring- ing the most significant healing to my clients’ lives.
